Bruant fauve Passerella illiaca

    1. Hello Marijke,

Thank you for your kind remarks. The camera I am using has an optical zoom of 18X and believe me, it is not that much... I would love to have a better camera but it will have to wait for now. I still can take good pictures with this one.
Have a great week you too Marijke

  8. Louise, this wonderful post brought a big smile to my face. We are seeing every one of the beautiful birds you featured on our property right now. Spring is a busy time of year for all of our feathered friends. Your photographs are fantastic! It's always fun to observe robins taking a bath. They seem to enjoy it so. Lots of splishin' and splashin'. The Song Sparrows song is oh so lovely. Always a pleasure to stop by our blog!

  10. What a beautiful kind of birds. All the birds in this blog , I ve never seen in the Netherlands. I read one of your comments about your camera, do you have a Panasonic Lumix? I have this camera, my previous one had 18 x optical zoom, since last summer I use a newer Lumix, FZ-45 with 24x optical zoom, I think this is a perfect camara ( but there must be enough light to prevent to much noise).

    1. Hi Ghita,

Yes, the birds are arriving and they are so nice!

The camera I am using is not a Panasonic Lumix. It's a Fujifilm S2950 with an 18X optical zoom and 14 MP. It's ok for now but as I am always looking to make better pictures, I will eventually try to buy something a little more powerful (zoom).
Thank you for letting me know about what you use. When there were no digital camera, I had a Canon with a 500 ml zoom; I still have it but I don't use it anymore... Time changes; it's so easy, fast & practical with the digital camera!
      Warm greetings,
      Louise
