Bruant fauve Passerella illiaca |
Roselin familier femelle Carpodacus mexicanus |
Bruant chanteur Melospiza melodia |

Hello Marijke,

Louise, this wonderful post brought a big smile to my face. We are seeing every one of the beautiful birds you featured on our property right now. Spring is a busy time of year for all of our feathered friends. Your photographs are fantastic! It's always fun to observe robins taking a bath. They seem to enjoy it so. Lots of splishin' and splashin'. The Song Sparrows song is oh so lovely. Always a pleasure to stop by our blog!
RépondreSupprimerHi Julie,
SupprimerWhy am I not surprised? We do have & see many birds in common. Right now many more are arriving like the Kinglets both Golden and Ruby Crowned and they too have beautiful songs. Spring is really my favorite season!
Thank you for all your nice comments, it's always a pleasure to hear from you. Looking forward to visit your blog too.
Regards, Louise
Exciting to see other species, those that you show here, I have not seen before.
RépondreSupprimerThanks for sharing them with us.
Ottar
Thank you Ottar and I will have more bird pictures in future posts!
SupprimerGreetings, Louise
What a beautiful kind of birds. All the birds in this blog , I ve never seen in the Netherlands. I read one of your comments about your camera, do you have a Panasonic Lumix? I have this camera, my previous one had 18 x optical zoom, since last summer I use a newer Lumix, FZ-45 with 24x optical zoom, I think this is a perfect camara ( but there must be enough light to prevent to much noise).
RépondreSupprimergreetings Ghita
Hi Ghita,
SupprimerYes, the birds are arriving and they are so nice!
The camera I am using is not a Panasonic Lumix. It's a Fujifilm S2950 with an 18X optical zoom and 14 MP. It's ok for now but as I am always looking to make better pictures, I will eventually try to buy something a little more powerful (zoom).
Thank you for letting me know about what you use. When there were no digital camera, I had a Canon with a 500 ml zoom; I still have it but I don't use it anymore... Time changes; it's so easy, fast & practical with the digital camera!
Warm greetings,
Louise
Wonderful images...they are beautiful birds to see
RépondreSupprimerThank you Andrew!
