Hello Louise, what a beautiful bird, I love it.
RépondreSupprimerIn the Netherlands we have also a Nuthatch (Sitta Europae)
also very acrobatic and active.
Nice to see "your" nuthatch and I can understand that you
enjoy it.
BBy the way I have a new translater on my weblog but now I am
'missing a translater on your weblog... :-)
Have a nice day, greetings from Holland
Natuurkieker Coby
Thank you Coby for these nice compliments. Thank you for telling me about the translator... I went to see yours and I now have the same! : )
SupprimerHave a nice week and take care,
Louise
Bonjour Louise
Bonne chance : )
SupprimerPiękna cała seria, ładnie pozował :)

RépondreSupprimerThank you Susanne! : )
SupprimerCool birds these nuthatchers! This one I've never seen depicted before, always nice to see new species :-) Your feeder looks like a good one as well :-)
RépondreSupprimerRune
Thanks Rune. Yes, this feeder is surely very popular for many species! : )
SupprimerLouise
Prachtig deze boomklever. Mooi dichtbij gefotografeerd.
RépondreSupprimerI accidently typed my comment in Dutch.
SupprimerWhat a beautiful bird, the clover, and you came very close. I 'm sure the cold weather makes birds less shy, they need the food very hard. What a cold in your country, in the Netherlands there has not been any winter yet.
Hi Ghita, I believe the same thing... Any animal, including us, would do the same; hunger is a strong condition and when there is a possibility to satisfy it, discomfort is not an obstacle. We had a very cold winter; it's been years since we has so many very cold days and very windy as well. Thanks for your comments, it is always nice to share with you.
SupprimerHave a great week, Louise : )
Beautiful series of nuthatch.
RépondreSupprimerGr Cees
Thank you Cees! Hope you are doing well! Have a nice week!
SupprimerGreetings, Louise : )
What a beautiful nuthatch with you Louise.
RépondreSupprimerIn the Netherlands, nuthatches a bit of a pink or orange breast. When you are white and that I find very beautiful to see. You have a really nice series of placed. Class.
Kind regards, Helma
Thank you Helma. We have two kind of nuthatch and the other one is similar to the one you are describing (sitta canadensis).
SupprimerKind regards,
Louise
Hi Louise,
RépondreSupprimerI can understand you like your beautiful Nuthatch. He's lovely and poses really well for you. It's nice to see he's different than our Eurasian Nuthatch. They are fun photographing because they are not too shy and are quite dominant when it comes to forage. I enjoyed your series!
Have a nice weekend,
Marianne
Thank you Marianne. We also have the other nutthatch (sitta canadensis) similar to your's. I really enjoy both of them but we see this last one less...
SupprimerHave a beautiful week!
Louise
Hello Louise,
RépondreSupprimerLovely birds. I love to watch them, hanging on the tree, looking around. This one has very beautiful colors. Here they like the peanutbutter as well.
Greetings, Gonnie
